Jackson County Water is a not-for-profit, private utility supplying safe, affordable drinking water to the residents of Southeastern Ohio.
Jackson County Water serves the majority of rural Jackson County and has a large presence in central Vinton County. We also have facilities in Ross and Scioto Counties.
Jackson County Water also has 3 bulk water vending stations to provide for those who may need water in large quantities or have no access to public water. These are coin-operated stations dispensing large quantities of water. These are located in Vinton County on SR 93 just south of McArthur, on SR 50 in the Allensville area at the satellite McArthur Fire Station, and in Jackson there is a station located on County Road 88 off SR 327 just south of Wellston in the parking lot of the Detour convenience store.
