Tom Brenner Retires After 31 Years of Service

The Jackson County Water Company Board of Trustees took time at the Regular Board Meeting on Monday, April 19, to recognize a long-time employee. After 31 years of service to the Jackson County Water Company, Tom Brenner has decided to retire. Tom was invited to attend the meeting, along with his wife, Tina Brenner, so that the Board could recognize Tom for this milestone. Dave Samples, President of the Jackson County Water Board, on behalf of the Board, presented Tom with a watch commemorating Tom’s 31 years of service.

On the actual day of his retirement, April 7, Tom was the guest of honor at a luncheon hosted by his fellow employees.

“Tom is well-known in the area and in the water industry, not just because of his service to the water customers of rural Jackson and Vinton Counties, but he has been continuously involved in a variety of civic organizations and projects in the City of Wellston and beyond. Tom’s dedication to his job, his family and his community exemplifies those qualities that make for not only a fine employee, but a fine person. Tom’s time has been well spent at Jackson County Water and the quality of life for many residents is better because of his efforts. We wish Tom the best on his well-deserved retirement.” Larry Foster, Manager of Jackson County Water.
